FESTIVAL DIVISION
The Festival division is for new dancers/novices and open to “first time on stage” dancers to help them get over the fear of performing on stage.
ELITE DIVISION
The Elite division is for the more experienced dancers (intermediate and advanced level). A dance studio or entrant may either do a studio solo set dance or an own choice solo.

VENUE & DATES
Proposed dates for 2023: 6 - 7 October Zwaanswyk Academy Cape Town.
Schedules will be sent out 2 weeks prior to this date.
SCORING & AWARDS
Each routine will be given a percentage
up to 100%
Bronze: 69% and below
Silver: 70%-79%
Gold: 80%-89%
Gold with distinction: 90%-100%
Each entrant will receive a Medal and Certificate.
SPECTATOR FEES
Adults: R40 per session
Children 10yrs & under: R30 per session
Pensioners: R30 per session
*Payable with cash at the door.
*Spectator Entry Fee for the All Star Performance will be R80. Payable in cash at the door.
ALL STAR PERFORMANCE
All Entrants with a score of 80% and above and any routine that is the adjudicators choice irrespective of result achieved will be called to perform in the All Star Performance which takes place on the final day of the festival.
Here the dancers stand the chance to win a Special Award.
Special Awards comprise of:

Best performing Soloist in Mini/Junior/Teen/Senior Adult Open in each Division and Dance Discipline.

Best performing Duo in each Division and Dance Discipline.

Best performing Trio in each Division and Dance Discipline.

Best performing Quartet in each Division and Dance Discipline.

Best performing Small Group in each Division and Dance Discipline.

Best performing Big Group in each Division and Dance Discipline.

Best choreography in duo, quartet, small group, big group and formation in each Division and Dance Discipline.
All special award winners receive a Certificate and Trophy.
Depending on the number of entrants qualifying there may be a Solo All Star Performance as well as a D/T/Q/SG/BG/F All Star Performance

Correctly Completed Registration forms and Entry Forms together with Proof of Payment of registration and competition entry fees to be received by 1 September 2023.
Late entries will not be accepted.
All registration and competition entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.
